What is Spray Foam Insulation?
Spray foam insulation is polyurethane foam sprayed into the walls of your custom-built house, cabin, cottage, barn, or shop to insulate walls, ceilings and everywhere else one would expect insulation. As a result, it helps to keep the heat inside during Northwestern Ontario's cold winter months and the hot air outside when it's warm.
Benefits of Spray Foam Insulation:
It gets into all the tiny nooks and crannies
Since it's a spray and not a long piece of pink fiberglass, spray foam insulation covers areas more completely. Homeowners with spray foam insulation can expect lower utility bills.
No vermin or bugs
Since it fills every crack and crevice, bugs and vermin have a harder time getting into the home.
No mold
Since it doesn't absorb water, mold will never be a problem.
Higher re-sale value
In today's housing market, most homes insulated with spray foam have a higher re-sale value.
It lasts
It sticks to the walls and won't fall off like fiberglass can. Environmentally friendly! Most notably, there aren't any fiberglass particles floating around in the air and it doesn't cause itching when touched, unlike fiberglass foam.
